Marcel Proust, author of "A la Recherche du temps Perdu", not-so-famously once answered a questionnaire given to him by his friend Antoinette. The following is said questionnaire, a Victorian version of today’s popular personality tests, designed to reveal the answerer’s tastes, aspirations, and sensibility in a series of simple questions.
These are my answers:
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being with those who care for you.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Being too helpful.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Passing culinary school.
What is your greatest fear?
Failing myself and failing others
What historical figure do you most identify with?
I couldn't say. I really don't compare myself to others, especially famous ones.
Which living person do you most admire?
My mother, she does so much for her family. She does what ever it take just to make everyone happy. ^^
Who are your heroes in real life?
My mother, like I said before she has done so much for us. She kept me motivated, and she was pretty much our biggest source of income. After getting a job myself, I been trying to repay her for everything she's done for us. ^^
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I lack self confidence. I'm easy to take down emotionally.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Greed and selfishness.
What is your favorite journey?
I have never been on a real journey before. I only ever gone as far as the next state over. Xp
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I never really thought about it, I can't say.
Which word or phrases do you most overuse?
I'm not awesome, I'm James.
What is your greatest regret?
I made many mistakes, but I try not to dwell on them.
What is your current state of mind?
If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be?
Nothing really, but I would like to see them more.
What is your most treasured possession?
It's hard to choose just one, I have my chunli collection and my consoles.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
When you feel your life has no meaning.
Where would you like to live?
No place in particular.
What is your favorite occupation?
I only ever had experience in the culinary field, but I did love baking and pastry. :3
What is the quality you most like in a man?
hardworking and pride in one's self.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Strong and caring nature.

Take pride in everything you do, even if you suck at it.
