Let me Out...

Our worlds separated by a sheet of glass...

I wanted Chun-li to appear as though she was trying to escape her video game world, however she's stopped by the game screen. This gave me a chance to work with new effects. I originally included shine on the image to appear like a screen window, but since the game screen already had that, it didn't seem necessary.
The background gave the most grief, but I think the stage came out nicely. The stage is based from the Beautiful Bay in SFIV. As the majority or the picture data was taken up by Chun-li, I had to do things the hard way with the background. Originally I wanted to include the Health bar, Ultra/super meter & the characters names, but after all that work on the stage, I felt it looked perfect the way it was.

This image was specifically designed for the 3DS. The 3D effects really made Chun-li appear more life like as she pressed her hands against the screen, as though trying to push the screen off the system.
